Ellan Wins County Prize for Art

On Monday, the whole Harman family attended a Talent Competition and prize giving ceremony at a local school. Ellan won fourth prize in her age group with her drawing of a Bluejay (a local bird).

The competition was a county-wide competition, and Ellan's drawing was selected from a total of 167 entries. Ellan presented herself well on stage as she received her prize, and we are all proud of her. Our thanks also go to Ellan's art teacher who taught her as part of the Home Schooling group some OM mothers do together every Friday.

Over the last few nights, Rebekah has learned how to climb out of her cot, and has been wanting to play at 3 O'clock in the morning! The following evening, there was concern as Ellan was suffering from severe earache, which was preventing her (and Mum & Dad) from going to sleep! After enough pain killers (for Ellan) and Hot Chocolate, we were all able to settle down for the night and there has been no pain since.

Hi Guys,

Sorry we were unable to see you while we were in Georgia, but you know how time flies when you are our age, ha!
The wedding went very well; Becky was a beautiful bride, naturally! We spent 6 weeks afterwards on deputation and then headed up to New Hampshire to collect my mother, who is staying with us for 2 weeks. We will then head to Michigan next week where Mom will stay with my sister.
We are back in Canada now, trying to get use to changes that naturally come while you are gone. Look forward to hearing the news of #5's arrival. You certainly have been blessed! We can still say that Becky and I were your first babysitters :)
Love, Gail

Just want you all to know we are thinking of you and praying for you as you wait for the arrival of the new baby. These last weeks are very draining we know. Have been talking to both Roy and Beth in the last week, both look great. Your Dad seems to be really settled in his new abode Jo, or so he tells me anyway! Lots of Love to you all. Emma still talks about her friend Ellan! You may be gone from here but please know you are not forgotten. Ali x
